Michael Bücker

Professor of Data Science

Michael Bücker is a Professor of Data Science at the Münster School of Business (MSB) at FH Münster and Co-Founder of regulaid. He also serves as a board member of the Institute for Process Management and Digital Transformation (IPD) at FH Münster. His research focuses primarily on applications of Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), as well as interpretable AI methods (Explainable AI). He earned his PhD in Statistics from TU Dortmund University. Previously, he worked at McKinsey & Company as a data and AI expert and project manager. In this role, he supported companies worldwide in establishing data-driven working methods and developed innovative solutions for business challenges using Machine Learning and AI.

Christoph Buchmüller

Professor of IT Law

Christoph Buchmüller is a Professor of Business Law, specializing in IT Law, at the Münster School of Business (MSB) at FH Münster and Co-Founder of regulaid. He is also a member of the Institute for Process Management and Digital Transformation (IPD) at FH Münster. His research focuses primarily on Artificial Intelligence (AI), data protection, and intellectual property. Previously, he worked and earned his PhD at the Institute for Information, Telecommunications, and Media Law (ITM) at the University of Münster. After completing his doctorate, he spent several years as a lawyer at a law firm specializing in business law, where he advised companies on IT law and supported them in implementing regulatory requirements, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
